Design (industrial) A 3.5 year study of the first level of academic studies (BA) Full-time or part-time studies In the Art faculty of the Poznan School of Social Sciences (PSSS) classes are led by famous artists and lecturers of The University of Art in Poznan, Academy of Fine Art in Lodz and lecturers from the PSSS. During the study the main focus is placed on teaching applied arts. This helps find concrete jobs connected with studios of design or graphics in advertising companies (in Poland and abroad), or gives the foundations for self-employment and developing all different kinds of art projects.
The first year of study is concentrated on the study of general knowledge. Students practice in studios of drawing and painting. Students will be trained by notable artists who are aiming to develop the art skills in students needed for working with applied arts. From the second year until getting a diploma, students will attend classes in diploma studios and extra art studio or project studio. During the studies the school organises obligatory open-air painting for students. The school also cooperates with designers and industrial design companies.
